Just months after getting his job back, a Toledo police sergeant is under investigation again. Last night a local organization was calling for his removal.
The National Organization for Women or NOW held a candle light vigil to protest the reinstatement of Sgt. Dan Brandon. Brandon was fired back in October of 2008 after he made sexual comments to a female carryout clerk while on duty. He appealed and an arbitrator reinstated him.
Just three months after he was re-hired, Brandon is under investigation for allegations of improper demeanor. About one week ago a couple and their young son were held at gun point and robbed. Sgt. Brandon was one of the officers to respond and a victim says he accused her of being a prostitute and allegedly wouldn’t listen to what she had to say.
