Toledo Adult Entertainment: Woman tries to proposition police chief

FOSTORIA, Ohio (WUPW) – It seems a Fostoria prostitute picked the wrong person to proposition. You could call it the opposite of a police sting.
Fostoria Police Chief John McGuire first thought some of his officers were playing a joke on him. He said it’s definitely a first.
According to officials, Catherine Tate approached the police chief’s unmarked police vehicle and offered him sex on Tuesday afternoon.
“Basically wanted me to, as she stated, show her the goods,” Chief McGuire said.
She is spending 15 days in jail after pleading no contest Thursday morning in municipal court to soliciting prostitution and two drug-related charges.

The police chief wouldn’t go as far as to say Fostoria has a prostitution problem, but he is noticing a lot more. It’s something his department will work to clean up.
