– A Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested, accused of exposing himself to a massage therapist and asking her for sex.
According to AnnArbor.com, police say Deputy Chad Beaudin, 38, was nude, but covered with a towel, as he got a massage at a parlor in Adrian in January. The masseuse was working on him when he reportedly threw off his towel and propositioned her.
The masseuse told police she declined and asked him not to return. Beaudin admits to being undressed but denies the charges.
Adrian Deputy Police Chief Laurence Van Alstine said Beaudin was arraigned Tuesday in 2A District Court in Adrian on charges of aggravated indecent exposure and soliciting prostitution. He turned himself in at police headquarters Tuesday morning.
Beaudin is out on a personal recognizance bond, said his attorney, Michael Vincent, told AnnArbor.com. “We intend to present a vigorous defense to these charges,” Vincent said. “It’s easy to make accusations.”
