Toyota plans to provide replacement accelerator pedals to owners who aren’t happy with their repairs free of charge. According to the Associated Press, the automaker released those details in a memo to dealers. This move comes after owners have complained to the government about problems with sudden acceleration after Toyota dealers fixed their vehicles.
If you’re traveling out of Detroit Metro on Continental Airlines you’ll notice a shift. Starting today, Continental Airlines will operate from the North Terminal. New signs will also be up today pointing customers toward the airline’s new location.
Family members of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick now face legal interviews in connection to a stripper’s death. Tamara Greene’s family claims Kilpatrick and others stifled a probe of her death. She was shot in 2003. The case still isn’t solved. Greene’s name has been linked to a long-rumored party at the mayoral mansion in 2002. Tuesday, a judge ordered Kilpatrick’s wife and father to give depositions in a civil lawsuit in Greene’s death.
