Strip club or nightclub?

NORTH TOLEDO – A business owner has pulled a permit for a nightclub on Newtowne Square Drive near Telegraph and Alexis roads in North Toledo, but some want to know if that’s what they’re actually getting.

Toledo has different regulations for sexually-oriented businesses like strip clubs as compared to regular nightclubs.
Neighbors near the property in question told Councilwoman Webb that they have seen platforms being installed inside the business, which lead them to believe a strip club was soon to open.

A permit has also been filed for a daycare within 500-feet of Reisner’s property, which could complicate things if he plans to go through with a strip club.
